On the 11th of September this year St Joseph's will be 50 years old and we are celebrating with a series of events throughout the year. We would also appreciate 50th birthday cards containing special memories of your time at school and photographs. These will be used for displays in school throughout the year.

9th September 2011

To begin our celebrations we  organised a human timeline on the 9th September. We were able to find one individual who graduated from St Joseph's in each of the 50 years we have been open. In some cases three generations of a family were represented. Everyone enjoyed coming into school and meeting up with old friends. Some pictures of the day are here.

20th September 2011

Bishop Seamus celebrated Mass in church and then visited school. There are some pictures here.

 20th October 2011

We held a children's fashion show to raise funds for Breast Cancer Care. Read Mrs Croy's letter about this event here.  Some children chose to "Wear it  Pink"   Others chose to wear fashions from the last 50 years.
